Sapulpa Burger Round-Up

Sapulpa has no shortage of spots to grab a burger, but personally I am attracted to our litany of independently owned and operated classic burger restaurants. If I’m going to splurge on a burger, I want something unique and home-cooked. Here’s a quick round-up of the best places in Sapulpa to get a proper hometown burger:

1. Happy Burger

Happy Burger is the quintessential burger and shake shack right out of the 1950’s on classic Route 66. The prices and classic atmosphere here are hard to beat.

2. Patriot Grill

Patriot Grill is a destination for burger lovers in this area. It seems to fly under the radar, but in this writers opinion it deserves far more accolades than it gets. Stop by this undiscovered gem and you’ll be coming back for more.

3. Scott’s Tastee Burger

Yet another plain and simple burger shack that serves up very nice burgers and heaping portions of fries. A slew of ice cream treats are also offered here.

4. Burgers N More

Burgers N More has a large menu that includes a bit of everything fried, but their burgers are what keep everyone coming back. This is also a great place if you love chili on your burger. They are generous with the fries!

5. Victory’s Cafe

Victory’s is a recent newcomer to town, and they have been warmly received. Victory’s has a wide menu with many revolving specials, but as with most cafe’s they also offer the standard burger fare. I’m a big fan of their fried potatoes.

6. Hickory House

Hickory House is obviously known for their BBQ, but they have great burgers on the menu as well if you somehow aren’t a BBQ person.

7. Cafe USA

Cafe USA is yet another hometown fried food cafe with a patriotic theme .

8. Sapulpa Cafe

Sapulpa Cafe is a very unassuming cafe without much of an online presence. This author has only been there for breakfast, but it is a very nice little cafe with a full breakfast and lunch menu.
